When I tried Bénédicte’s two latest cellos, the impression I had was as if I had known them already for a long time, both being rich in harmonics and having a powerful, full, sweet sound. It was like I had rediscovered two old friends, due to their ease of emission and versatility of tonal range.

The cello made by Bénédicte Friedmann (in 2016) is a powerful instrument with a warm sound and is very balanced in all registers. It was truly a great pleasure to play Bach’s third Suite in the Santa Rita Church in Cremona on this magnificent cello.
